But before you look any further Mommy:
There are a few things you should know about me. First, I am a Mommy like you and I spend my days following a small toddler around the house picking up after his trail of crumbs. I am in no way qualified to share professional advice. I am, however, a mom with the opportunity to share our life events with anyone interested in reading.
I believe that somewhere out there is a Mommy who needs a laugh. Maybe who even needs some hope. I believe there are other Mommy’s out there who have felt just like I have, wondering why God, WHY? Why is he smashing goldfish crackers into the carpet AGAIN?! Is that crayon on the wall?
Will this blog be for everyone? Nope. Probably not. In all honesty, I am not even sure anyone will find or read my posts. But this is worth giving a try. It’s worth taking the chance, because maybe, just maybe, our family can set another family on a journey toward hope.
That’s my goal. I want to share our personal experiences with the hope that perhaps someone else will realize they aren’t alone.
Nursing my infant while my toddler takes his afternoon nap. With nothing but a free blogging account, a list of possible blog titles captured in my Notes App, and memories of the last few years that have changed my life forever.
Now that we’ve cleared the air, here are a few facts about me that may help you decide if this blog is right for you:
I am a Christian.
I am a happily married woman.
We have 2 cherished sons who are a year and 4 months apart in age.
I am a stay at home mom.
I am far from perfect.
If you are hoping to find that I am trendy and fabulous– that’s not me.
All of my clothes look ridiculous on me since having a baby.
I live in yoga pants.
Sarcasm is my best friend.
I am completely winging this whole motherhood thing.
As you can tell, I am not a professional writer. You can read more about me on my Home page.
I am not the Pinterest perfect picture of a mother. I am not the scary terrible Mommy. I am snuggled contently somewhere in between. No matter where you stand on your journey, please join me in this adventure. Who knows? Maybe we will be kindred spirits and one day, friends.
